Weird And Wonderful
Surreal Photography. If we let go of the idea that photography realistically portrays reality, we begin exploring a very different
psychological, philosophical, and artistic territory: surreal photography. Surrealism in the art world became popular in the early
1920s as an expression of a revolutionary philosophy

I really like weird and wonderful as its a way to show the creative side of photography through editing. as you see in the pictures above for the
example the orange basketball he has used techniques to make the basketball look like a basketball by manipulating the editing to make the
skin the same material of a basketball. The paper image in the bottom shows a artistic picture of a face and the paper is burning this makes the
image look interesting and unique.

Erik Johansson
Erik Johansson is a Swedish-born artist based in Prague who creates surreal images by recombining photographs and other materials. He
captures ideas by combining images in new ways to create what looks like a real photograph, yet with logical inconsistencies to impart an
effect of surrealism.

i really like the photo with the moons being carried into the back of the van i like this as it uses a unique way of weird and wonderful its vibrant colors help show something
which wouldn't usually be in that spot. the picture with the glass shows a sea and manipulates it to look like shattered glass or a lot like water washed up on shore. what makes t
his picture so good is the use of reflections which gives the picture a sense of realism

Makankosappo/Hadokening
Hadokening is a photo fad that involves two or more people staging a 'ki attack' knockout sequence and photographing themselves in mid action as seen in the
popular Japanese fighting arcade game street fighter and manga series dragon ball.

Shoot 1
For This shoot i used an idea called vadering which is a reference to star wars 'Darth Vader' as he force chokes people which is what you see here in the photo. i tried
to capture Harry and Reece in the same shot as he is force choking hi and make it look as realistic as possible. I used a low shutter speed, medium f stop and perfect exposure
and the pictures turned out very well.

the photos i used in the comic book
Photo 1
This is by far my favorite as the effects I used, this was a meant to be a separate shoot but instead I decide to use it in my
comic book, I put the shutter speed up on the camera and made Luke walk past while I took pictures, Mrs Roban let us use the
staff room so I could get a picture of the cabinet. I used the cut out tool and feather tool to smoothed Luke and make it fit in
with the environment A new technique that we were taught was to use shadows and that's what I used to make Luke fit in.

With this photo Mrs foster let me use her little door for lukes house and I used a pictures of Callum sat down with his guitar.
this picture is similar to the one below with Callum falling, I used the same technique with cutting them out and using the
feather effect also I used a speech bubble to express what Luke and Callum are saying

So with this picture it was a simple edit of cutting out Luke and Callum and using the feather tool to make them look a lot
smoother and a lot more realistic this one turned out very well I got callum to it on the chair cut him out and flipped it and I
already had lots of Luke so I just got one from the walking on a cabinet shoot and used them to put him on the railing

this picture was a bit more difficult than the one above because cutting Luke out was a bit difficult as the angle he was at made
it difficult and to get Callum the way he is I got on top of a table and took a picture of him from above. to edit this picture it
was yet a again juts a simple cut-out and using the feather toll to smoothed them and make it look more realistic. I also used an
emoji above lukes head to show that he is surprised that Callum has just fell

mid way point
this is the comic book strip mid way through as I need to change the background and edit lukes face on the second picture, I
also need to add emojis to show the story better
