DETAIL
I have chosen the theme DETAIL. I am inspired by natural detail found in flowers, plants, food, people and textures.
I want to incorporate the compositional rules into some of my images giving them a more artistic finish and to make
them different to my other projects.

These images are my favorite out of Andy Gott's collection. This is due to the amount of Detail that is shown on the faces put into
these creative and amazing and effective photographs. Not only has Andy Gott's used images with a black background showing great
Photography skills, he has created a soft, peaceful mood to accompany it. He has thought about how he wants the viewer to feel
when they see his photo, and took into consideration what tones to use in order to relate to his images. I really like how the final look
of the photo is very detailed and makes it look cartoon like.

What I Like
i like this photo because off the chiaroscuro used to add a dramatic effect and bring out the facial expressions more. this photo shows
two personalities of them both as one is pulling a funny face and ones pulling a concerned face

What I Don't Like
I dont like this photo as the face looks very cartoon-ish and makes his face look very surreal.
and i dont like the fact hes not looking directly into the camera

BILLY KIDD
What I Like
What i like about this photo is the vibrant colors shown through the photo with the mix of contrast between darker shades of
color and a more lighter tone when it approaches the middle of the flower the black background really helps all of the colors shine
and stand out in the image. the green stem stays the same color and doesn't change contrast like the main flower does which is nice
as then everything is not dark.

My Least Favorite

What I Dont Like
SHOOT 1 - PLACES ON FACES
For this shoot im working in the style of Andy Gotts Who does the close up photos in black and white filter. I really like the idea of this shoot
as it really brings out the detail in peoples faces and really shows there facial features as a whole.

Test 1- Faces And Expressions
For this shoot i have took pictures of Beata in monochrome. the monochrome brings out her facial expressions with a flash shining on her face.
this is inspired by Andy gotts as he tends to make them do funny facial expressions so i used that to make

The Right Direction
I like this photo as it shows the detail in betas face and hand. The photo is a mid shot and the focus point is her eyes or mainly the central part
of her head making the background blurry which gives it that medium depth of field. i used the tripod to keep the photos at the same angle. i
didn't have to do any editing as the camera settings had monochrome for me to use. im trying to make a portrait shot of Beatas face with the
same pose and try some editing. i really like the way this turned out as its what im going to do for my final product.

Test 2- Covering the mouth
The Right Direction
i like this image as its what i was going for with the ive over her mouth which means tat she is just showing her eyes the monochrome gives it
more of a dramatic feel. im inspired for this picture from Andy Gotts Style of photography. ive also used my knowledge from my campaign
photography page and used a inspired dramatic feel from that campaign for this photo. i definetley like this style more than the first tester shoot
and will use this to influence my final shoot
